RNC Respond to Two Break and Enters in St. John's
On Saturday morning the RNC responded to two break and enters.
The first occurred at a business in the west end of St. John’s. One person was detained on the arrival of members at the scene. A suspect vehicle that left the scene was located in the Mt.Pearl area and the RNC K9 team was called in.
One additional person was tracked down and located by Police Service Dog Avalon and has also been arrested. Both persons were held for court.
The investigation is ongoing.
About 25 minutes later officers responded to a call of a Break and Entry at a residence in the center city area of St. John’s. Officers located and arrested a 24-year-old male at the scene. He is charged with Uttering Threats, Property Damage, Assault with a weapon, and Resisting arrest. He was held for court.
