RNC & RCMP team up and issue 75 tickets

The RCMP and RNC teamed up on the Trans-Canada Highway at Butterpot Park and issued 75 speeding tickets.

On Wednesday, officers, through the use of a LIDAR, laid 75 speeding charges throughout the morning and afternoon.

Two of these motorists also had their driver’s license suspended and vehicles impounded for travelling 160 km/h each.

In a statement, the RCMP said they continue to see frequent occurrences of excessive speeding and aggressive driving.
