RNC officer has been sent to hospital after being stabbed at Atlantic Place

An RNC officer has been sent to hospital after being stabbed at Atlantic Place in downtown St. John's.

The incident occurred while the officer was performing an arrest.

At this time an individual has been arrested and will appear in court.

The officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Atlantic Place houses several businesses including the court, government offices and legal, financial, and professional service firms.
