RNC Mounted Unit Welcomes New Officer

On Friday the RNC welcomed its newest officer to the Mounted Unit with a graduation ceremony held at Rainbow Riders Therapeutic Riding Centre in St. John’s.

Constable Gwen Stacey will officially join the unit after completing a fifteen-week Royal course.

Stacey has been a member of the RNC since 2008.

Constable Stacey received training from Retired Constable George Horan and additional training and an evaluation test by Sergeant Kristopher McCarthy of the Toronto Police Service Mounted Unit.
