RNC Makes Arrest in Bowring Park Incident

A 22-year-old male has been arrested and charged with sexual assault after an incident in Bowring Park in St. John's.

On Monday the RNC was called to a report of a sexual assault. The female adult victim and the male suspect were not known to each other.

The accused was released to appear in court at a later date.

Police believe the incident to be an isolated case.
