RNC Make Arrest and Seize Weapons in St. John’s

The RNC made an arrest and seized a number of illegal firearms in St. John’s last Wednesday.

Police responded to a residence on Durdle Drive in the Goulds area of St. John’s after receiving a report of a weapons offence which had just occurred.

Officers determined that a male had entered the home with a firearm, and had left the location prior to police arrival. It was believed that the male had forced a female, known to the male, to accompany him in leaving the area in a vehicle.

The female had not sustained any injuries.
