RNC Lay Charges Related to Trafficking at HMP

The RNC has charged 37-year-old Phillip Pynn with drug trafficking related to multiple substances.

On January 6 RNC responded to Her Majesty’s Penitentiary in relation to multiple packages of unknown substances that had been seized after a body cavity search of an inmate.

Samples of the unknown substances were sent for analysis and on March 6, police received confirmation that the substances contained within three packages were a fentanyl and bromazolam mixture. A fourth package contained cocaine.

A total of 72 grams of fentanyl/bromazolam mixture and 20 grams of cocaine were seized, with a street value of approximately $30, 000.00.

On April 20, RNC charged Pynn with possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking in fentanyl, possession for the purpose of trafficking in bromazolam, and failure to comply with a court order.
