RNC lifts Shelter-in-Place for McIvers

The Shelter-In-Place has been lifted.

One male has been taken into custody with charges pending.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has issued a directive for all residents of McIvers to shelter-in-place.

Officers are responding to a weapons offense in the area. There are no reports of any injuries at this time.

All residents of McIvers are being asked to lock doors, and stay away from windows. There is no through traffic at this time.
