RNC investigating sudden death after industrial accident in Corner Brook

The RNC is investigating a sudden death following an industrial accident in Corner Brook.

Shortly after 9:00 am this morning the RNC were called to an industrial accident on Griffin Drive.

When officers arrived, the Corner Brook Fire Department was on scene and providing medical assistance to a 55-year-old man.

The man was transported to Western Memorial Regional Hospital by paramedics. The man was pronounced deceased on arrival at the hospital.

Both Occupational Health and Safety and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner have been notified.
