RNC Investigating Shots Fired Downtown

The RNC is investigating reports of gunshots fired in a residence in the downtown area of St. John’s.

Officers responded to the reports early on Thursday morning.

A male was located in a residence with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds, which are believed to be non-life-threatening. He was transported to the hospital to be treated for the injuries.

The RNC does not believe this to be a random incident.

Anyone with information including CCTV or dash camera footage in the area of Livingstone Street is asked to contact RNC or Crime Stoppers.
