RNC investigating shooting in St. John's

The RNC responded to St. Clare’s Hospital in St. John’s on Sunday just before 8:00 pm after a male had arrived with a gunshot wound.

A 47-year-old male from St. John’s was receiving medical attention for the serious injury resulting from the gunshot.

The RNC is investigating this event and believe it to be a targeted attack.

Investigators are seeking any information or video footage from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 25, in the area of Carter’s Hill, Livingstone Street, Tessier place and Cookstown Road in St. John’s.
