RNC investigating hit and run in Labrador

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary in western Labrador is requesting the public’s assistance in relation to an ongoing investigation into a Motor Vehicle Collision on Hudson Drive in Labrador City.
Friday at approximately 10:55 pm, officers responded to a report of a vehicle that had left the road on Hudson Drive in Labrador City. The vehicle struck several objects before colliding with a house and a parked vehicle.
There were no known injuries reported.
Witnesses observed the vehicle operating at a high rate of speed before going off the road. They also reported seeing a male fleeing the scene.
The male is described as being in his early 30s, clean cut, wearing jeans, a tanktop and a white button-up shirt.
