RNC Investigating following serious vehicle collision in Outer Cove, Wednesday evening.

Emergency services responded to the area of Lower Road between O'Neils Road and O'Rourker Lane shortly after 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening.

The St John's Regional Fire Department (SJRFD), Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC), and NL Health Services (NLHS) all attended the scene.

Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Traffic Analyst/s were also on the scene to conduct an investigation into the collision.

⚠️ Road Closure ⚠️

RNC Collision Analysts are on the scene of a serious motor vehicle collision on Lower Rd in Outer Cove.

The road is currently impassable. Please avoid the area.

At 11:00 p.m. roughly two and half hours later the road was reopened to Traffic in both directions.
