RNC investigating fatal collision

The RNC is looking for the public’s assistance with an investigation of a fatal collision in St. John’s that occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. this morning.


Police responded to a serious motor vehicle collision eastbound on Pitts Memorial Drive, just East of Robert E. Howlett Memorial Drive. Responding officers determined the collision involved a 2006 black Dodge Charger and a 2003 white and blue Suzuki motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle had sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital to seek medical support.

 

A short time later, at the hospital, the 40-year-old male from Conception Bay South who was operating the motorcycle was pronounced dead.

 

The RNC is actively investigating this event, and seek any information connected to the vehicles involved in this fatal collision.
