RNC investigating break and enter and assault with a weapon in Corner Brook

This morning at 4:05 am the RNC was called to a report of a break and enter and assault with a weapon at a residence located on Pleasant Street.

By the time officers arrived, the suspect(s) had already left the residence.

The lone occupant of the home, an adult male, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance.

The incident remains under investigation.
