RNC investigating a serious incident in Corner Brook

The Corner Brook Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating a serious incident in Corner Brook and is seeking the assistance of the public.


On March 3, at about 7:30 pm police responded to a request for assistance in the area of Elizabeth Street and Beothuck Crescent following a report of a 57-year-old male requiring medical attention.


The male was taken to the hospital and treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.


No charges have been laid at this stage and the RNC does not believe there to be any immediate concerns to public safety at this time.


The RNC will be canvassing the area and requests that anyone with information to assist, or any video or dashcam footage in the area of Elizabeth Street, Corporal Pinksen Memorial Drive, Mount Bernard Avenue, O’Connell Drive, or the surrounding area during the hours of 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, March 3, please contact the RNC or Crime Stoppers.
