RNC in Churchill Falls Arrested Wanted Individual During Traffic Stop

The RNC stopped a speeding vehicle on Saturday that was travelling approximately 64 km/h over the posted 80 km/h limit on the Trans-Labrador Highway east of Churchill Falls.

Police discovered that the passenger of the pickup truck, a 36-year-old male, had multiple outstanding warrants. He was arrested and held for court.

Tickets were issued for excessive speeding, no insurance and expired registration.

The vehicle was impounded.
