RNC asking residents to shelter in place in areas near Jenmar Crescent

UPDATE: RNC has determined the report to be unfounded.

The RNC are asking residents bordered by Ruby Line, Sprucedale Drive, Serpentine Street and Green Acre Drive in St. John's to shelter in place due to a reported weapons offence.

Police descended to the Jenmar Crescent area of St. John's following the report.

Motorists should avoid the area and obey police direction.
