RNC arrests woman for impaired driving after crash in Torbay

A 61-year-old woman is facing impaired driving charges after police say her vehicle ended up in a ditch Monday evening.

Around 6:00 p.m. on November 3, officers with the RNC’s Operational Patrol Services responded to reports of a possible impaired driver in Torbay. When they arrived, they found the vehicle off the road.

Police arrested the driver at the scene. Following further investigation, she was charged with refusal and impaired driving. The woman has been released and is set to appear in court at a later date.
