Man arrested following disturbance near Village Mall

A 27-year-old man faces multiple charges following a disturbance near the Village Mall parking lot Sunday afternoon.

RNC officers responded to the disturbance at about 3:15 p.m. on September 20.

Police say an investigation led to the arrest of a 27-year-old man, who was taken to the St. John’s lockup.

He was charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, uttering threats, causing a disturbance and breaching an undertaking.
