RNC arrest man after robbery in St. John's

The RNC has arrested a 25-year-old male in connection to a robbery in St. John’s.

On Monday evening the RNC responded to a report that an individual was robbed.

The individual who was robbed was threatened and assaulted in the area of Livingstone Street. The man reported that he had fled on foot to the area of Water Street, where he was able to contact police. The man sustained minor injuries during the incident.

Both parties were known to each other.

The accused was held in custody pending a court appearance.
