Residents warned about fraudulent Income Support scam

There is another scam making the rounds.

There is a fraudulent document containing incorrect Income Support phone numbers and email addresses being circulated.

Anyone wanting to contact Income Support should continue to call toll-free at 1-877-729-7888 or email incomesupport@gov.nl.ca. Any other email addresses or phone numbers are not accurate and should not be contacted.

Anyone who receives a suspicious communication should report it to the Anti-Fraud Centre or call 1-888-495-8501.
