Residents displaced after fire at apartment complex in St. John's

The St. John's Regional Fire Department responded to a fire at an apartment complex on Charter Avenue in St. John’s around 10:00 p.m. last evening.

Kent's Pond, Central, and Kenmount stations responded to the blaze.

Multiple residents of the complex were displaced and the Red Cross was contacted to arrange temporary accommodations.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
