Residential Re-Leaf Tree Planting Returns

The City of St. John's has re-opened the Residential Re-Leaf program. The program allows residents to apply for a $200 tree voucher towards the purchase of a tree to plant on their property.

The program aims to expand St. John's urban forest by encouraging property owners to plant trees on their property.

This initiative continues to help the City achieve its goal of increasing the number and density of trees in St. John's.

Previous programs in 2016 and 2019 saw hundreds of trees planted on homeowner properties throughout the city.
