Remembrance Day Parade cancelled in St. John's

In anticipation of the stormy weather expected today, the Royal Canadian Legion Remembrance Day Parade has been cancelled.

The ceremony at the War Memorial will proceed as planned at 11 a.m.

To accommodate the ceremony, Duckworth Street from Prescott Street to Cochrane Street and Water Street from Prescott Street to Cochrane Street will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Streets may close earlier than scheduled based on pedestrian safety requirements.
