Recycling Suspended in Eastern Region

The Eastern Regional Service Board says that due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the return to Alert Level 5, all recycling in the Eastern Region will be suspended for two weeks.

The provision of services will be reviewed in two weeks.

Bulk is scheduled to begin in March but will be evaluated as conditions change.

Additionally, all Waste Recovery Facilities have been closed until further notice. This applies to the Bay Bulls, Bell Island, Cavendish, Old Perlican, Harbour Grace, Placentia, Renews-Cappahayden, St. Joseph’s, Sunnyside, Clarenville and Whitbourne Waste Recovery Facilities.
