Recipients of French Language Services Grants Announced

Ten recipients have received funding of $220,225 through a new five-year Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Agreement on French Language Services between Canadian Heritage and the Department of Digital Government and Service NL.

The funding supports projects that will advance the planning and delivery of services in French throughout the province and will be matched by contributions that come from a mix of community, municipal and other Government of Newfoundland and Labrador sources.

The ten recipients are:

• City of St. John’s

• Eating Disorder Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador

• Memorial University

• MusicNL

• Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services (three projects)

• Newfoundland and Labrador Public Libraries

• The Rooms

• Town of Cape St. George

• Town of Fortune

• Town of Stephenville
