RCMP warns of armed individual in Carbonear

The suspect has been arrested.

Harbour Grace RCMP is informing residents of an unfolding situation involving a possible armed individual which requires that the public remain away from the area of Valley Road in Carbonear, near CONA and the Carbonear pool.

Additional police resources gave been deployed and residents are asked to stay inside.
