RCMP uses DNA to make arrest in several break and enters

RCMP have made an arrest after an investigation into several commercial break and enters that occurred between 2018 and 2019 in Gander.

Police charged 37-year-old Ben Lush with six counts of break and enter.

To aid in the investigation, RCMP secured a warrant for a sample of Lush’s DNA. Lab analysis was delayed due to COVID-19 impacts but once completed, Lush’s DNA was confirmed as a match to samples located at the scenes of six break and enters.
