RCMP stops transport truck near Pasadena & charges driver with drug trafficking

On Wednesday the RCMP arrested 46-year-old Stewart Higdon as part of an ongoing investigation.

Shortly after noon on Wednesday the RCMP with assistance from the RNC conducted a traffic stop on the Trans-Canada Highway near Pasadena.

Officers seized 60 grams of methamphetamine, $1000.00 cash and other evidence consistent with drug trafficking.

Higdon was released from custody and is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine. He is set to appear in court on January 24.
