RCMP Stops Speeding Vehicle and Finds Alcohol, Cannabis and Cash #nltraffic

RCMP conducted a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle on the TCH between Pasadena and Deer Lake.

Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Officers alerted the RCMP to the speeding vehicle.

As a result of the traffic stop a 23-year-old Mount Moriah man faces several charges.

Officers observed open alcohol, cannabis products, and cannabis paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Further investigation led to the seizure of nearly ten thousand dollars in cash that was concealed on the driver.

The driver was ticketed under the Liquor Control Act, the Cannabis Control Act, and the investigation is continuing.
