RCMP seize quantity of cocaine during traffic stop
The RCMP has arrested a 53-year-old man for several drug-related offences.
Angus Snook was arrested during a traffic stop last Friday. RCMP officers from the Harbour Breton and Grand Falls-Windsor detachments, as well as West District General Investigation Section and Federal Serious and Organized Crime unit, were engaged in the investigation.
Snook was found in possession of a quantity of cocaine with an estimated street value of more than $9000.00. The vehicle and its contents were seized as part of the investigation.
Snook faces charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. He was released from custody and is set to attend court at a later date.
The investigation is continuing.
