RCMP Seize Cocaine and Cash from Deer Lake Residence

A 27-year-old Deer Lake man was arrested following a search of a residence by Deer Lake RCMP on Tuesday.

Following the execution of a search warrant on Tuesday evening, RCMP officers from Deer Lake Detachment, along with Police Dog Services and the Serious Crime Unit, entered the home and conducted a search.

Police located and seized a quantity of cocaine, illicit cannabis, prescription medication and cash.

The man is facing charges for possession for the purpose of trafficking. He was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in Corner Brook Provincial Court at a later date.
