RCMP Seek Public’s Help to Locate Stolen Snowmobile in Carbonear

The RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance as it investigates the theft of a snowmobile from private property in Carbonear.
Police say officers responded around 8:40 a.m. on Jan. 29, 2026, after receiving a report that an off-road vehicle had been stolen from outside a residence on Tyres Drung Road.
The stolen vehicle is described as a 2006 blue-and-white Ski-Doo GTX snowmobile. It has VIN 2BPSEO6A66V000456 and a Newfoundland and Labrador licence plate SEL 028.
Anyone with information about the theft or the current location of the snowmobile is asked to contact Harbour Grace RCMP at 709-596-5014.
