RCMP seek public’s help locating overdue snowmobiler near Natuashish

Nain RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating an overdue snowmobiler who failed to arrive in Nain as expected.

Police said John George Bennett was last seen on Thursday, Jan. 22, about 25 kilometres outside of Natuashish. He was expected to depart the area and arrive in Nain later that night, but did not reach his destination.

Bennett was operating an orange-and-black Renegade snowmobile.

Anyone with information on Bennett’s whereabouts was asked to contact the Nain RCMP detachment at 709-772-5400.
