RCMP says vaccination passport concerns are not police matters

The RCMP has responded to complaints from individuals alleging extortion and human rights violations against elected officials and others in relation to the vaccine passport implemented by the provincial government.

In all cases, no information provided to police would warrant a criminal investigation.

Police are encouraging anyone with concerns about the vaccine passport or other public health matters to contact their appropriate elected representatives or government department.
