RCMP responds to Officer Involved Crash in Kippens, Tuesday afternoon.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) along with Stephenville Fire Department (SFD) and Reliable Ambulance Service (RAS) responded to the area of Kippens Road and Lakeview Drive for reports of a two-vehicle collision involving an RCMP Cruiser.

First Responders arrived on the scene minutes later to follow that an RCMP Cruiser and a SUV had collided with each other.

One lane is now opened on Kippens Road in the area but traffic remains slowed as RCMP are investigating the crash.

RCMP are advising the public to avoid the area until they conclude their investigation.

Injuries of all opponents involved are unknown at this time.
