One fatality after serious collision in St. Anthony

A 38-year-old man has died after a single-vehicle crash in St. Anthony.
Shortly before 4:00 a.m., police received the report and attended the scene.
An SUV departed West Street, crossed over a side walk, entered a ditch and overturned.
The driver, and lone occupant, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the SUV. He was transported to Dr. Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony for urgent medical attention and succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
EARLIER STORY
The RCMP responded to a serious collision on Elementary School Road in St. Anthony around 7:00 am this morning.
Those accessing the school must detour through the gas station parking lots on either side of the road.
At this time there are no further updates. Police remain on the scene.
