RCMP Looking for Stolen Truck & Tools


RCMP in Grand Falls-Windsor is investigating a theft that occurred on Tuesday morning.


During the early morning hours, Universal Fabricators Inc. on Pondview Drive in Grand Falls-Windsor was broken into. A truck and a large number of tools were stolen.


At approximately 5:00 a.m., police received the report of the break, enter and theft. A pickup truck was seen in the area by a passerby travelling at a high rate of speed.


Police attended and saw that the fenced compound was severely damaged.


A 2012 grey GMC Sierra 2500 pickup truck (NL plate CVL920) was stolen from inside the building and the culprit(s) drove the truck through the fence when departing the property.

The truck has a distinct aluminum rack that extends from the rear of the truck over the top of the cab and has the company logo on the doors. Various tools were stolen.
