RCMP looking for dangerous motorcycle driver in Carbonear and Harbour Grace

The RCMP is asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a motorcycle that failed to stop for police on Tuesday in Carbonear and Harbour Grace.

The motorcycle fled from police passing multiple vehicles and failing to stop at traffic lights.

Leading up to the attempted traffic stop, police received multiple reports of a motorcycle matching the description driving in a dangerous manner in the area.

Officers did not pursue the motorcycle citing safety concerns. The vehicle was last seen driving onto the Veterans Memorial Highway.

The motorcycle is described as white with red trim and is a sports-style motorcycle (lean over). The driver is believed to be a male and was wearing a red and blue windbreaker jacket.
