The RCMP has launched a criminal investigation into the potential cyberattack that brought down IT services for health authorities across the province over the weekend.
Thousands of appointments have been cancelled and Eastern Health has been forced to revert to paper-charting.
The government became aware of the issue on Saturday morning when systems started to fail.
There is a number for those in Eastern Health to call for information on appointments. The number is 1-833-777-1276. Additional staff have been brought in to handle the call volume.
