RCMP investigating vehicle theft in Carbonear

The RCMP is investigating after a vehicle was stolen and theft of property in Carbonear.

On Wednesday the RCMP in Harbour Grace received a call indicating that sometime during the night prior, a 2013 Chevrolet Cruz was stolen from the driveway of a home on Burgess Place in Carbonear.

A short time later, another call was received indicating the theft of personal property from another vehicle on the same street, in the same timeframe.

Whitbourne RCMP has located the stolen vehicle.

Anyone with information or surveillance in the area are asked to contact Harbour Grace RCMP or Crimestoppers.

Police are reminding residents to lock vehicles at all times when unoccupied.
