RCMP on Bell Island are investigating two residential break, enter and thefts.

The first occurred on June 22 between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The suspect(s) broke into a home on Theatre Avenue and stole a television and an iPhone 8 that was rose gold in colour.

There have been reports of an individual going door to door trying to sell a cell phone matching the description of the one stolen from this residence. The individual is described as being a white, skinny-build male, mid-twenties to mid-thirties, who is approximately five feet eight inches tall.

The second incident occurred between June 26 and June 27 when a home on Rideout’s Road was broken into. In this instance, a flat-screen television, that was mounted on a wall inside the home, was stolen.

Both homes were unoccupied at the time of the break and enters.

The investigations are continuing.
