RCMP investigating sudden death in Shearstown

On Saturday morning the RCMP responded to a report of a man found dead at a residence in the community of Shearstown.

Both the RCMP Major Crime Unit and Bay Roberts RCMP are investigating the sudden death.

The RCMP Forensic Identification Section and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner are also engaged in the ongoing investigation.

Residents of Shearstown can expect to see a police presence in the community over the next couple of days.
