RCMP investigating mischief to vehicle and theft of utility trailer in Lewisporte

The RCMP in Lewisporte is investigating mischief to a motor vehicle and the theft of a utility trailer during the overnight hours between November 9 and 10 from the parking lot of the Lewisporte Rod and Gun Club.
The RCMP were alerted to the theft shortly after 2:00 p.m. on November 10.
A black Jeep Wrangler with an attached utility trailer was parked overnight in the club’s lot on Road to the Isles, and the owner returned to find that one of the vehicle’s windows had been smashed.
A trailer was also missing. It is described as a Make Easy Haul 10-foot utility trailer, NL plate TJE256, with a wooden deck and ramp. The trailer’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is 2SPUSB14AN041604.
The investigation is continuing.
