RCMP investigating fire in Seal Cove

On Thursday afternoon the RCMP received a report of a residential fire on Newtown Road in Seal Cove.

The fire, which is believed to have started in a residential shed, spread onto a number of other structures, including two other sheds and four houses.

Two of those homes and three of the sheds were destroyed by the fire. The remaining two homes were damaged.

There were no injuries and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
