RCMP investigating fatal snowmobile crash on Saturday near Hughes Brook

A 43-year-old man is deceased after a snowmobile crash on Saturday near Hughes Brook.

RCMP received a report that a snowmobile had crashed on Cloudy Pond Road.

The man was wearing a helmet. He was found underneath his damaged snowmobile.

He was transported from the scene of the crash to paramedics, who were waiting in Hughes Brook, and was pronounced deceased.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is engaged and the investigation is continuing.
