RCMP Investigating Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision #nltraffic

RCMP is investigating a single-vehicle fatal collision that claimed the life of a 22-year-old Seldom man on January 3.

At approximately 3:20 a.m., police were notified of the collision by a passerby. Police attended the scene and found a severely damaged car on the roadway that was unoccupied. Officers searched the area and located a man, who was ejected from the vehicle, in a nearby ditch.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt during the collision.

He was taken from the scene in an ambulance for urgent medical attention and died during the transport.

A Collision Reconstructionist from RCMP Traffic Services attended the scene and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is engaged.
