RCMP investigating fatal collision

A 33-year-old man is deceased following a fatal motor vehicle collision that happened on the Trans-Canada Highway near Grand Falls-Windsor on Thursday morning.

A van and a commercial truck collided with one another. Officers determined that the van crossed over the centre line and collided with the oncoming commercial truck.

The driver of the van was ejected and died at the scene.

The driver of the commercial truck was uninjured.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner was engaged and the investigation is continuing.
