RCMP investigating break and enter at Carbonear business

The RCMP is investigating after a business in Carbonear sustained thousands of dollars in damage and stolen merchandise.

On August 8, a group of individuals broke into Quality Vapour.

The videos show one person using a sledgehammer to break through the front window of the business to gain entry. Three others follow the person inside. The sledgehammer is used to break display cases inside the business and the suspects fill bags with various items.

Police have released surveillance videos showing multiple suspects in hoodies and masks. Also released are images of a white SUV with a panoramic sunroof captured in surveillance footage around the time of the theft.
